charities through wills and estate plans. The program encourages people of all ages, backgrounds

The LEAVE A LEGACY® Winona program is made up of community based organizations including
human service agencies, churches, educational institutions, hospitals, arts organizations, and
professional advisors such as attorneys, accountants, financial planners, insurance agents and
many more. A list of local program partners can be found by clicking on the appropriate menu link
to the left.
The LEAVE A LEGACY® initiative originated in Columbus, Ohio in 1994 and is continuing to unite
more than 120 communities throughout the U.S. and Canada to promote awareness of the
importance of remembering charities and special causes in a will or estate plan.
LEAVE A LEGACY® does not solicit gifts for a particular organization, this is a collaborative
educational effort among LEAVE A LEGACY® Winona partners.
The LEAVE A LEGACY® trademark is owned by the National Committee on Planned Giving. Use of
the trademark by organizations or individuals who have not completed a local licensing agreement
with a registered LEAVE A LEGACY® program in their community is prohibited.
